I would rate this place 0/5 but unfortunately this isnt an option.
The Erith Working Mens Club has no contract with its hirers. Upon arriving they didnt know anything about that party or the hirer, yet gladly accepted £110 from them as a deposit.
The building is horrible; half of it is under renovation. You cant polish a turd, the renovation seems a waste of money in my eyes.
The guests were welcomed with a long list of rules being shouted at them by a very angry, short, grumpy old man.
The party was then closed down just under 3 hours early, without any communication between the owner and hirer.
The husband of the license owner then shouted at, and threatened one of the hirers mid-conversation.
Shortly after this dispute and threats, a man with relations to the club was spotted assaulting attendees of the party and at one point shouted at a girl, asking her to get in the car.
Steer clear of this venue. Hopefully I can save less peoples nights from being ruined by this review.By Admin, March 02, 2017
